Last Friday, we announced an update to our Minimum Trades Rule for Funded accounts, lowering the lot size threshold from 80% to 50%.
As promised, we didn’t stop there. Today, we’re introducing another change – this time to the rules regarding suspensions after multiple account breaches.
What’s Changing?
Previously, our 2-Step Challenge program included two rules where:
- Five breached evaluation accounts, or
- Three breached funded accounts
within one month, would result in a 30-day suspension from purchasing new accounts.
Starting today, those suspension rules have been removed.
While we still strongly encourage traders to take a short break after a breach – especially during the funded stage – to review their performance and identify areas for improvement, we believe a hard suspension from purchases is unnecessarily restrictive.
Why We’re Making This Change
Our community has shown consistent discipline and professionalism. Traders at ATFunded rarely seek to exploit the system. Instead, many treat setbacks as valuable learning experiences – refining their strategies, improving their risk management, and returning stronger.
We’ve seen numerous traders turn early setbacks into long-term success stories, remaining funded with us this day.
Hard suspensions can end up holding back dedicated traders who simply want to improve and move forward. Removing them reduces friction for genuine traders and gives more freedom to learn, adapt, and grow at their own pace.
Responsible Trading Still Matters
This change does not alter our expectations of responsible trading behavior. As outlined in our Gambling Policy, Account Rolling – rapidly cycling through accounts, taking excessive risks, or using reckless leverage – remains strictly prohibited.
Our goal is to create a balanced environment that supports growth without encouraging recklessness.
At ATFunded, we will continue refining our systems to make the funded journey fair, flexible, and sustainable, always prioritizing the long-term success of our traders, keeping the general experience as smooth, straightforward, and flexible as possible.
